We all dread the cold and flu season and it's right upon us.

I never nor do my family get the flu vaccine. I'm not a believer and I feel that there are too many strains of the flu out there that a vaccine can potentially long term do more harm than good.
There are so many natural ways we can stay healthy and prevent the cold and flu without having to look to western medicine.
First and foremost the environment that you live in plays a factor. Make sure you clean off counter tops and wipe off your door handles and do a deep cleaning throughout your house as well as invest in an air cleaner. There are many inexpensive ones on the market and they do wonders especially if you also have a tendency to suffer from allergies.
Open your windows and let some natural air come in to allow circulation and get rid of stagnant air. It will give you more oxygen and as a result you will feel more refreshed and energized.
Secondly, stock your house up with some of the most valuable immunity strengtheners on the market.
Here's a list that I have created for you:
Similasan Swiss Homeopathic Nasal Spray
Safe for children and adults to use at the early signs of nasal stuffiness and congestion.
Breath Easily Herb Tea by Traditionals and Throat Coat Herb Tea for coughs also by Traditionals.
Nothing beats the Clear Lungs Extra Strength to clear up congestion and cough.
Echinacea with Zinc and Goldenseal helps to strengthen the immune system and also helps with colds and upper respiratory tract infections.
Simple but so helpful and good for you, drink hot water with lots of lemon and honey at the early symptoms of chills and cold coming on. I also like to add 1 clove of crushed garlic into the hot water as a natural antibiotic and it always does the trick to kill any oncoming symptoms of cold. Boiron Homeopathic Cold Calm and Oscilloccium take at the first symptoms of a cold and throughout the cold season to boost your immunity.
ReBoost Sore Throat Relief Spray,
Ester-C Vitamin 1000 mg take daily and increase dosage to strengthen your immunity.
Ginger and Tumeric are great antioxidant to keep in your pantry can be used as a spice or raw. I prefer to use raw ginger in salads, add to cooking and in tea. I prefer to use Tumeric as a spice to add to cooking and smoothies.
Sambucol Black Elderberry Cold and Flu Relief comes in liquid form or dissolvable tables. Take at first sign of cold and flu symptoms.
Additionally, stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, wash your hands frequently, eat healthy (lots of organic veggies and fruits), exercise regularly, listen to your body and don't over do it!
I hope you will find this helpful and that you will stay Healthy and Well throughout the Cold and Flu Season!
